To be honest this is the second week where i dont know why I am even bothering to write up what I think is going to happen in the Eagles game. Its going to be an absolute belting, there is no doubt about it.

The Eagles could take a team of only their reserve players and still come out a long way on top. As it is, they’re “resting” Darren Glass and Matthew Priddis, though I dont quite believe the team’s people when they say the duo are actually carrying injuries.

The Eagles have well and truely taken advantage of their easy start to the season, and should look to capitalise in their game against the league’s newest team before their first tough assignment next week with a clash against flag favourites Hawthorn.

There is not much more the Eagles should do to win that they havent already been doing. If there is one piece of advice I think John Worsfold should give them is to make sure they don’t get complacent just because they’re playing GWS. As Essendon found out last night, doing so can almost produce the upset of the round, and nobody wants to be the first team to lose to GWS.

My prediction: Is it too much to predict the eagles by 100?
